The primary school/adapted primary school operation is part of the Education Administration. The operation comprises 21 primary schools as well as adapted primary school, and the total number of students is approx. 4,500. Four of the primary schools are lower secondary schools, while the others, with a few exceptions, cover grades F-6. The operation also includes after-school centers.

Zederslundsskolan is a grades 7-9 school in central Motala with easy access to public transport. Our school philosophy:

Approx. 300 students attend the school in grades 7-9. During the school day, students are often divided into different teaching groups in core subjects and modern languages, for example. We have a high proportion of qualified teachers and work in work teams and subject teams for the students' development towards higher goal fulfillment. In recent years, the school has worked with school development in collaboration with the Swedish National Agency for Education to improve teaching.

Being employed at Zederslundsskolan means you are involved in building a new school culture together with staff who previously worked at two different schools. The classrooms are well-equipped with projectors and, in some cases, smartboards. Students have one-to-one loan computers and work with TEAMS as a learning platform. Student democracy is important at the school, with a well-developed student council and class council.

DUTIES

Planning, implementation, and assessment of teaching in the subject of German for grades 6-9.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Teaching license with eligibility in the subject of German for lower secondary school.
• You are confident in yourself, stand up for your opinions, and have the courage to speak out when necessary.
• You have the ability to distinguish between facts and personality and can feel secure even in uncertain situations.
• You take active initiative in social contexts, step forward, and find it easy to create and maintain relationships.
• You have a good understanding of how humans acquire knowledge and of people's different prerequisites. You adapt your way of conveying your message to the recipient.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: Start: 2026-08-10, End: 2027-06-16.
Working hours: Holiday employment with annual working hours.
